Ingredients:
6 lb Munton's Dry Pale Extract
1/2 lb Crystal 40
3 oz Cascade hop pellets
White Labs California Ale Yeast
Instructions:
Dump Just before boil, remove the malt and dump the now-brown water into another gallon of water in your brewpot. Just after hot break add 2 oz Cascade hops and boil for 50 minutes. At 50 minutes, add 1 oz Cascade hops and boil for another 10 minutes. Cool and strain into 6.5 gal carboy. For primary fermentation I normally fill to 6 gallons. Ferment for 10-14 days. Rack to secondary for another couple weeks. Bottle with 1 1/4 cup of Munton's Dry Pale Malt Extract as primer (not corn sugar) in 1 pt of water. |
